Frequently asked questions
How often are my domains checked?+
A scheduled job checks every tracked domain: its SSL certificate (via a direct TLS connection), registration expiry (via WHOIS), and uptime. Free plan checks daily; Pro can go as often as every 6 hours.
A domain shows "Unknown" for registration -- why?+
WHOIS has no single standard format across registries. Many ccTLDs either omit expiry dates entirely or require a different lookup method. When we can’t confidently parse an expiry date, we show "Unknown" rather than guessing.
How many domains can I track for free?+
The free plan covers up to 3 domains. Upgrading to Pro ($15/mo) removes that limit entirely.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Billing is handled by Stripe -- cancel or change plans anytime from the Billing page, no phone call or email required.
